Resume Examples for Students and Early-Career Professionals
Study practical, truthful resume examples for objectives, projects, education, internships and skills.
A useful resume example demonstrates structure and specificity, but it should never be copied as if it were your experience. Adapt the pattern—action, task, tools and result—using only facts you can support.
Project bullet example
Weak: “Worked on an attendance app.” Stronger pattern: “Built the attendance entry flow in React, added input validation and documented the setup for three teammates.” The stronger version makes the contribution visible without inventing business results.
Internship bullet example
Weak: “Responsible for testing.” Stronger pattern: “Created repeatable test cases for the signup flow and documented defects with reproduction steps.” Add a number only when you know it is accurate.
Education example
List degree, specialisation, institution, location and graduation year. Add CGPA, percentage, coursework or a capstone only when it is relevant or requested.
Frequently asked questions
Can I load an example into the builder?
Yes. The builder can create a new fictional example resume without overwriting your current resume.
May I copy an example metric?
No. Example figures are illustrative. Replace them with truthful, supportable information or remove them.
Should every bullet include a number?
No. Numbers can clarify scale or outcome, but clear qualitative evidence is better than an invented metric.
